WHERE TO STAY:    For out of town BHS '67'ers seeking lodging for the reunion; The Brandywine Valley Inn (remember the old El Capitan?) is giving us a preferred rate of $108 per night/per room AND will provide limo transportation to the U&W club IF we book 10 rooms under the group heading of "The BHS Class of 1967." We are also working The Downtown Hilton Doubletree in downtown Wilm.

Best Western Plus - Brandywine Valley Inn Mary J. Taylor, CHA General Manager

*Downtown Doubletree By Hilton Hotel: Classmate Susan Stamper negotiated a great rate at the Downtown Doubletree By Hilton Hotel - 700 North King St. (2 Queens or Single King) Under $90+tax. Just ask for the "BHS Class of '67" Senior Rate. The Doubletree is in the Wilm legal district and only 1.6 mi. to the U&W Club, 1.92 mi. to the Columbus Inn.

What should I wear to the reunion?

That's always been a hard question to answer definitively. The U&W Club is a definitely a cut above, (which, when you think about it, has always been the hallmark of our '67 reunions). So, keep that in mind and dress accordingly. (You don't have to wear a tux but you also shouldn't wear ripped jeans, t-shirt and flip flops-not that you would mind you).

Here are some suggestions from previous reunions:

Think dressy casual. "Upscale, but Jackets not required!  That leaves some room to be a bit more dressy, but comfortable if you don't get "dressed up"

"somewhat dressy--(for women) maybe a 3-piece outfit or long black dress with jacket--I'm comfortable with men in shirts and nice pants with or without jackets"

"funky - fun, chic-we should make this at least a little special"
