John W. Lee Jr. DVM received his Bachelor's of Science in 1971 from the University of Delaware and graduated in 1974 from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine. He established
Chadds Ford Animal Hospital in 1978 and founded Unionville Equine Associates in 1983.
John W. Lee, Jr. DVM lives in Rising Sun, Maryland where he and his wife, Jane Fassinger Lee VMD, own and operate, Dayspring Farm, a broodmare facility, and Sham Felek Arabians. Dr. Lee is the senior partner at Unionville Equine Associates P.C., a practice that he started in 1978. Dr. Lee served as the president of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association in 1996. He is presently the chairman of the Cecil County Agricultural Advisory Board which is a committee under the Cecil County Economic Development Department. He is also a member of Cecil County's Equine Industry Task Force, which is a subcommittee of the board. He has been a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Equine Practitioners for thirty years. Additionally, Dr. Lee practices equine veterinary medicine in Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania and holds a license through the Maryland State Board of Veterinary Medicine.

My husband Finn and I spend fall weekends traveling to various colleges around the Northeast to watch our daughter Sonja, now a senior at Bucknell University, play Field Hockey. Kevin - thanks for putting this together. What a great way to get in touch. Like many of my classmates, I graduated from UD 71, then got MS there in 74 and began teaching at a community college in Baltimore. Meanwhile started 2 additional careers - Physician Assistant and pilot. Finally resigned from the college last year after 25 years of teaching anatomy and physiology. I work as a PA in a local emergency room (it's not quite like the show ER). My husband and I also own and run an aircraft charter company in the Baltimore area - a terrific but not inexpensive way to travel. We operate 2 jets and a turbo-prop plane. I have 2 step-daughters and 2 granddaughters. I made it to only one reunion - the 25th. Glad to hear I'm not the only one who missed the 30th. Would love to hear from many of those I remember but haven't seen since graduation.

"I Retired in 2002 after 30 years in Transit Management with the Department of Transportation (aka:DART). Now affiliated with Philadelphia Trolley Works and 76 Carriage Company, as their Safety Director. Safety, HR and Training keeps me busy 50-60 hours a week. Well, Carol (Adelman BHS 68') and I are still living in Brandywine Hundred and will celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary this November. I will begin my 37th year of teaching and coaching this Fall. This will be my 31st year at Sanford School where I have taught Physical Education, coached quite a few different sports, mostly soccer and golf, and was an Athletic Director for 20 years. We have two grown children: Kate who is 28 years old and beginning her 8th year as a teacher, and Michael, who is 26 years old and works fulltime in Dewey Beach and Rehoboth. Highlights during the past year include both of us traveling to Italy (Tuscany area) last summer for two weeks with a group of my collegues from Sanford. For two people who have not traveled much at all, it was an amazing, once in a lifetime adventure that was spectacular. This summer, we sold our house and will be moving in August to another place near Concord High School. Carol is retired from public school education and is currently working part time for a lawyer. After graduating BHS, I earned an AA from Wesley College, then went to U of D and earned a BA in Psychology. After 7 years working for the state in various jobs from Probation Officer to Family Therapist I needed a change and got into the motorcycle industry. I ran my own shop for 11 years, then worked for Harley-Davidson of Seaford DE until 1990. I moved to central Florida where I taught motorcycle repair for 12 years and worked as Service Manager at 2 Harley Dealers for 2 years. I am currently a Tech Service Rep for Harley-Davidson Motor Co in Milwaukee, WI. For "relaxation" I've been drag racing motorcycles since 1987.
I have a son, David, who now works for the US government. He also has a son, Andrew. He and his wife live in Lewes, DE. My second wife, Regina Dant, and I have a daughter, Jennifer Chapman, who graduated from Wilmington College and is a Behavioral Analyst for the State of De, and a daughter, Casey Nicole, who graduated from the Univ of California, PA with a MS in Athletic Training and is now working in Bourbonaise, IL where her husband is studying for a degree in Spanish Ed. Jennifer has two sons, Zachary and Stavros, and she and her husband live in Laurel, DE.

Carolyn Miller Sexton lives with her husband Frederick in Raleigh, North Carolina. A step-son Fred and daughter-in-law Jen graduated from college in 2002, married in 2003 and now live in Charlotte, NC. A favorite hobby is traveling with Carolyn's parents Walter and Dorothy Miller. She graduated from Duke University School of Nursing (BSN) in '71 and from UNC School of Public Health (MPH) in '93. Carolyn met her husband Frederick in a study group in graduate school and they were married the week before graduation. I am grateful for life, as disparate as my experiences have been. I was a stay-at-home mom for many years, with five sons, teaching piano lessons, enjoying being so active in my boys' lives. Now I work at a law firm in Wilmington and I have one teenager still living at home. My children are scattered from New York to California. The oldest, who is a surgeon, is the only one who is married and he and his wife have two daughters and one son. My children are the best and life is hard, but good.

First 'real' job was at WSFS as a Clerk, advancing to Assistant Manager of the Main Office in Wilmington, Delaware, until marriage to fellow co-worker in April 1974. I then quit and became stay-at-home step-mom to a ten-year old stepson. I volunteered at my local church and at the Delmarva Ecumenical Agency for a while until my son was born in January 1977. I returned to work in Feb 1981 at Home Federal Savings and Loan Assn, to prepare for divorce in July 1981. Presently Human Resource Administrative Assistant at the headquarters (New Castle, Delaware) of Uniqema, a business unit of ICI.
Have lived in Londonderry Townhouses since January 1988. Son Bryan graduated with a BS in Computer Engineering in June 1999 from U of DE; presently works for Educe Group; will marry Jessica Kennedy (and her twin 3-year old sons, Aidan & Brady) on March 24, 2006; will live in Gainesville, VA until home is built in York PA.Stepson John and wife Debbie (works for WSFS) live close by, so I'm an active grand mom to his 2 sons, John III (14) and William (91/2). Since May 1982 have been active in Christian Business and Professional Women (part of Stonecroft Ministries) where I found the Lord. Am involved in my church, Bethel Baptist on Wilson Road in Wilmington, presently Sect/Treas of Women's Ministry.

After graduating from BHS, I attended Elon College in NC for one semester then transferred to the UofD where I graduated in 1971. I became very active in the local theatre scene both on stage and off. It was during one of these shows that I met a Mt. Pleasant graduate who eventually became my wife. Phyllis and I live in Claymont with our two sons, Corey, a junior at BHS, and Rob, a seventh grader at Wilmington Christian School. Phyllis is a pre-school teacher and I am credit manager for a local branch of a national company.
A lot has happened since I was at the last reunion! I was divorced back in 99, my parents passed away in 2000 and I moved to Bloomington Indiana from Louisville Kentucky where I am from and had been living since the late 70's. I do a lot of traveling because of my daughter, who is currently living in London and is an international lawyer. I spent last Christmas in England and Ireland, and am going to London and Spain in September.I am currently working as a clinical medical assistant and low vision specialist. There is a picture of me* at the website...its a couple of years old.....www.longfamilyeyecare.com.I stay pretty busy and don't see me retiring for a few more years. I have a place in Bradenton Florida that I will probably relocate to, unless I decide to move to Great Britian.
Life certainly has had a lot of twists and turns for me. Things have not gone as planned, but I can't complain. I am healthy and happy and have good friends in my life. I have a three bedroom town home that I share with my two cats.....Hazel and Percy. I scoot around the small town of Bloomington in my Eclipse, that I bought back in May 05. I never could resist a great car...the 66 Mustang? I would love to hear from my high school friends!(That's Jacque Murphy pictured in the middle)

I Have been divorced since 1999 and am enjoying the freedom to do quite a bit of traveling abroad. I spent the holidays in England and will be returning to London this September.
